Work order details and permalink

WorkOrder detail opens in a dialog with the record’s operational context and actions. Share permalink copies a direct numeric-ID link so another authorized user can open the same record without searching.

From the work-order list:

  1. Locate a record with filters, its numeric reference, or Go to ID.
  2. Open the row or reference.
  3. SolarSENS loads the numeric-ID route and opens the same detail dialog used from the list.

The route follows this structure:

/#/app/wo/v1/<numeric-id>
  1. Open the work-order detail dialog.
  2. Select Share permalink.
  3. Send the copied link to a colleague who has access to the work order’s plant.

Changing the work order’s status, assignee, or subject does not change its numeric record ID. Archived records remain addressable. A hard-deleted record no longer has readable detail, so its link stops resolving to a valid work order.

Depending on the record and enabled capabilities, detail can show:

  • subject, plant, area, category, priority, requester, and description
  • schedule, assignee, due date, and status
  • shutdown and availability impact
  • attachments and preview controls
  • workflow actions allowed for the current state
  • a sortable timeline with compact change summaries and expanded field details
  • subtasks only when the deployment enables the subtask beta

The timeline may be empty or unavailable. See Core records and entities for the underlying reliability limits.

  • Opening detail requires access to the record’s plant and, for contractor users, read permission.
  • A shared link does not grant access to someone outside that scope.
  • Archived detail remains readable under the same access rules.
  • Hard deletion removes detail and timeline access.
