Performance and loss analysis
Use Operation Overview → Performance to find which plants are underperforming, then follow the gap into losses, alarms, and the plant itself. The views you can open depend on your role and subscriptions.

Compare portfolio performance
Section titled “Compare portfolio performance”- Open Operation Overview and select Performance.
- Select a portfolio, and a country if you need to narrow the plants.
- Choose a Period Type:
- Day shows 30-minute points. That is only the display: the calculations behind them can use five-minute data.
- Month shows one result per day across the month.
- Choose a Parameter, select the date, and select Generate.
- Use the legend to hide or show plants. Select Download CSV to take the chart data further.

Curtailment. Overspill PR is the estimated curtailed energy, normalized like PR; Total PR adds it to delivered energy. The estimate needs production, irradiance, and configuration data, so check those are present before reading a blank or zero as “no curtailment”.
Compare like with like
Section titled “Compare like with like”Two series are comparable only when all of these match:
- Scope: the same plants, portfolio, and country.
- Period: the same date boundary and the same Day or Month grain.
- Definition: the same PR variant (base, corrected, overspill, or total). Specific yield and availability aren’t interchangeable with PR either.
- Units: irradiance in W/m², irradiation in Wh/m², power in kW, energy in kWh.
- Inputs: temperature, weather, irradiation, inverter, meter, and configuration data are present for the period.
Follow a gap to its cause
Section titled “Follow a gap to its cause”- Fix the portfolio, country, date, and period type.
- Compare Specific Yield to find plants that differ once capacity is taken into account.
- Compare PR with PR Corrected to see whether temperature changes the ranking.
- Compare monthly Availability, then open Insights → Overview for the same scope and period. Availability and loss analysis walks through both.
- Take the loss category that changed most and inspect the plant.
- Check Alarm Analytics for recurring events in the same period.
- Use a report when you need a saved record.
Load and grid flow. Where a plant has suitable meter data, its Overview power chart can show solar power, facility load, and grid power. The grid sign convention differs between plants, so read Interpret load and grid flow before reading direction from the chart. A missing series is not zero.
If something looks wrong
Section titled “If something looks wrong”Recheck the five matches above first. If the numbers still don’t line up, send support the scope, parameter, period type, date, and (for losses) the percentage denominator, so they can reproduce your comparison.
