A work order turns an operational finding into accountable work. The typical flow:

  1. Create a work order with plant context, issue details, priority, dates, and evidence — Create and assign. Unassigned active work remains New; assigning it makes it Assigned.
  2. Perform the work and record execution details, attachments, and shutdown context — Attachments, evidence, and optional subtasks.
  3. Record the outcome as ResolvedResolve and close.
  4. Archive the retained record, or use governed deletion when it must be removed — Archive, delete, and history.

Use Dashboard and filters to manage the queue and review backlog, aging, workload, and exposure, and Details and permalink to share a record. The lifecycle, records, and permissions behind the workflow are defined in Work order lifecycle.

Use Reports for standard and customized report views, DataHub for Excel exports, and the Billing guides to review meter data and configure billing inputs.
