Company admin views

Company administrator views help an organization manage selected commercial settings, permissions, and correction requests. They are different from the internal Config Server Administration group, which is reserved for administrator-only setup and maintenance work.

⚠️ Wrong view, wrong outcome. Using a company-admin view for a task that belongs in Config Server Administration can change setup state or shared catalogs unintentionally. See the “What belongs elsewhere” section below before proceeding.

Company-admin areaUse it forWhat to confirm
Meter TariffConfigure participating meters, currency, cleaning cost, and tariff windowsThe settings match the approved commercial agreement
Meter AdjustmentsSet normal or swapped import/export interpretation for a meterThe direction matches a trusted meter reading
WorkOrder permissionsReview contractor or company permission boundaries where enabledThe intended company, plants, and actions are in scope
Telemetry Correction and BackfillRequest approved historical reprocessing for a named plant, date range, and data sourceSubmission is not completion; each affected scope still needs verification

The exact views available to a user depend on role, subscriptions, and deployment. Seeing a menu item means the view is visible to that account; it does not prove that every action in the view is approved for the current request.

The Config Server Administration group is not covered by this public page. It includes Site Creation, Configurator, Manage Configs, Logger Setup, and Subscriptions. Those views can change setup state, shared catalogs, plant records, commissioning plans, or customer feature assignments.

Use the internal procedures for those workflows. Do not use a company-admin commercial or correction view as a substitute for:

  • plant commissioning
  • direct plant maintenance
  • shared catalog changes
  • customer subscription assignment
CheckWhy it matters
Plant and company scopePrevents changing the wrong customer’s settings or data.
Approved sourceTariffs, direction swaps, and correction requests need an approved business or technical source.
Expected resultThe administrator should know what value, permission, or report should change.
Verification pathA saved setting or queued correction does not prove downstream views are already updated.

💡 After making a change, note which downstream views or reports will be affected and confirm they updated before closing the task. A tariff change that looks correct in the configuration view may not appear in billing until the next processing cycle.

For tariff and budget concepts, see Meter data, tariffs, and budgets. For correction semantics, see Privileged data maintenance and Data freshness and corrections.
