Platform model
Solarsens models a solar portfolio as a set of plants, devices, performance signals, events, and operational actions.
Core entities
Section titled “Core entities”Plants
Section titled “Plants”Plants are the main operating units in the platform. Monitoring, alarms, reporting, and performance analysis are usually scoped to a plant or a portfolio of plants.
Devices and telemetry
Section titled “Devices and telemetry”Devices such as inverters and related field assets produce telemetry. Solarsens ingests this data so teams can monitor performance, diagnose issues, and calculate KPIs.
Alarms and events
Section titled “Alarms and events”Alarms represent conditions that require attention. They help O&M teams identify faults, triage impact, and determine whether action or escalation is required.
Work orders and operational actions
Section titled “Work orders and operational actions”When an issue requires coordination, the platform can connect monitoring signals to work order workflows so teams can track response and resolution.
How the model is used
Section titled “How the model is used”Operationsreaders use this model to understand what they are monitoring and how issues move from detection to actionDevelopersreaders use the same model to understand what resources and events an external client will query or automate against
